Garbage Disposals
A garbage disposal is an amenity that many home cooks depend on to get rid of food scraps. There are different types of disposals, such as batch feed style that works with a drain cover or a continuous feed system that is a little more budget-friendly. We can install a disposal even if you are not on a municipal sewer line.
If you already have a garbage disposal and it is making odd noises, has a bad odor, or is leaking, it might be repairable. Yet, these appliances do not last indefinitely and they might need to be replaced. A garbage disposal generally has a life span of 15 years. A skilled plumber can recommend the best disposal for your particular kitchen, waste system, and budget.
Toilet Installation and Repair
A toilet is another plumbing fixture that might need to be serviced or replaced at some point. The bowl can break, the inner workings can stop flushing and filling properly, the supply line can leak, the gasket seal can fail, and the toilet can simply be clogged. A good plumber can often fix a leak, replace the flushing mechanisms, reseat the toilet, or clear the clog. However, if your toilet is very old, it might not meet current plumbing codes that aim to conserve water.
Basic toilets with tanks are well-priced while some of the high-tech tankless toilets are more expensive. We can install most toilet styles now available. We can also repair any rough-in drain pipes and supply lines.
Shower/Tub Services
Showers and tubs are fixtures that tend to stand the test of time, especially tubs and shower basins that are porcelain-enameled cast iron. The newer acrylic versions are lighter in weight, yet they can discolor and show wear over time. Replacing a tub or shower base is something all of our skilled plumbers are trained to handle.
The actual plumbing is a little trickier to repair or replace because it often involves opening up a wall to get to the root of the problem. However, you may only need a shower valve replacement, a new shower head, or even a tub spout and diverter. These repairs can be taken care of without disturbing the finishes if no internal leaks are detected. Either way, we have you covered.
